HARRISBURG – State Rep. Carl Metzgar (R-Bedford/Somerset) and Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32) will host a complimentary breakfast to honor military veterans for their service to our country and communities.
The event will take place on Friday, Nov. 17, at 8 a.m. at the Samuel S. Crouse American Legion Post No. 181, 162 Main St., in Somerset. Retired U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Larry Powell will be the guest speaker at the breakfast.
“This is a great opportunity to personally thank our dedicated veterans for their service and the sacrifices they have made for our country,” Stefano said. “It also gives us an opportunity to talk to veterans about issues of importance to them and ensure that their voices are heard.”
“We look forward to meeting the local military men and woman who have served our country and helped to keep us safe,” Metzgar said. “We hope area veterans will join us at this event.”
