More than 50 exhibitors will be on hand to provide information on local, state, and federal programs and services available to senior citizens at a September 23 Senior Expo hosted by Senator Pat Stefano and Representative Ryan Warner.
The free informational event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, September 23, at the Fayette County Fair, Fiddlers’ Building, located on 132 Pechin Road, Dunbar PA.
Stefano said the Senior Expo is designed to provide seniors with a “one-stop resource” for information on a wide range of services available to them – many of which are free of charge or at a reduced cost.
Throughout the day, there will also be refreshments, free health screenings and door prizes.
“We look forward to meeting area seniors to hear their questions and concerns and find out what we can do to better represent them in Harrisburg,” Stefano said. “I urge area seniors to stop by for a day of fun and fellowship.”
“There are a wide variety of programs and services available to help seniors enjoy an active and independent lifestyle.” said Warner. “This expo will be both fun and informative, so I hope as many local seniors as possible will attend.”
