SOMERSET – Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32), chair of the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, is hosting a firefighter forum on Monday, Sept. 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the Bakersville Volunteer Fire Department, 2341 W. Bakersville Edie Road, Somerset.
The presentation will cover what is happening at the state level and the implementation of these laws, as well as legislative actions and grant funding for first responders.
Speakers will include Sen. Stefano; State Fire Commissioner Bruce Trego; Nate Silcox, executive director of the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee; and Joe Marsicano and Chris Yniguez, funding and resource specialists for the Pennsylvania Senate Republican Caucus Services.
