Senator Pat Stefano (R-32) offered the following statement on Governor Wolf’s announcement today that COE Distributing (COE), a wholesale distributor of office furniture and accessories, will expand its footprint in Fayette County and consolidate operations from outside the commonwealth to its site in Smock, creating 20 new, full-time jobs.
“I’m pleased that we could work closely with COE Distributing and local and state officials to obtain state grants through the Department of Community and Economic Development to make this expansion project a reality and bring good jobs here to Fayette County.
COE is a family-owned company, with deep roots in the community, so it is especially gratifying to see it grow, improve and contribute to our local economy. Creating new family-sustaining jobs and improving the economic climate here in the 32nd Senatorial District has been a top priority for me.
As the owner of a small business, I know how hard COE has worked to grow its company and I know that this state investment will make it even more successful.”
