BEDFORD – Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32) and Rep. Jesse Topper (R-Bedford) are hosting a free Senior Expo on Friday, Sept. 1, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Bedford Fairgrounds, 729 W. Pitt St., Bedford.
The expo will give residents the opportunity to learn about resources and programs provided by state government, as well as local nonprofit and community groups in the area. It will also offer door prizes and health screenings.
“There are lots of programs and services available to help our seniors. However, when seniors aren’t aware of these resources, they aren’t able to serve their purpose. My goal is to share this important information by hosting the Senior Expo with Rep. Topper,” Stefano said.
“Senior citizens, their family members and caregivers have an opportunity learn about the numerous resources available to them at the Senior Expo Sen. Pat Stefano and I are proud to host,” Topper said. “I hope everyone who could benefit from this free event takes advantage and attends this one-stop-shop event.”
