LEMONT FURNANCE, PA – Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32), Rep. Charity Grimm Krupa (R-51) and Rep. Ryan Warner (R-52) announced they’ll be hosting a free Senior Expo on Wednesday, September 24, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus, 2201 University Drive in Lemont Furnace.
“Whether you’re looking for senior resources, caregiver support or just want to make sure you’re fully utilizing the resources available to you, we hope to have something here for everyone,” Stefano said. “I encourage anyone to take advantage of this convenient opportunity to connect face-to-face with experts who care about our community.”
This free community event is open to residents of any age to meet with a variety of helpful services and programs Fayette County has to offer. Exhibitors from state agencies, local nonprofits and community organizations will be on hand to answer questions about their offerings.
“The Senior Expo is both an informative and enjoyable event for the senior community,” Warner said. “Whether you’re looking for daily living support, financial planning or simply opportunities to engage with the community, the expo is the place to be.”
Additionally, attendees will have access to free health screenings provided by local exhibitors including the Uniontown YMCA, Revolution Rehab and students studying nursing at Penn State Fayette as well as a chance to win door prizes. Light refreshments will also be provided.
“There are so many resources available for seniors, but it’s not always clear which program or service would be the best fit for your needs,” Grimm Krupa said. “Our Senior Expo presents the perfect opportunity to check out these resources all under one roof, giving you the chance to see which works best for you.”
RSVP is not required for this event. For additional information, residents may call Stefano’s office at 724-626-1611, Grimm Krupa’s office at 724-438-6100 or Warner’s office at 724-437-1105.
