Senate Law and Justice Panel to Hold Hearing on LCB Issues During COVID-19

The Senate Law and Justice Committee will hold a remote public hearing at  10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6 in Harrisburg to discuss issues involving the PA Liquor Control Board (LCB) during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Senator Pat-Stefano (R-32).

The hearing will be streamed live at www.pasenategop.com and at  www.facebook.com/PASenateGOP/.

Stefano said the hearing will focus on several topics involving the closing of state stores, including the timeline, who ordered the closures and why, and the impact of that decision on consumers and liquor licensees. They will also discuss the rollout of the e-commerce and curbside pick-up programs currently in place and the current financial condition of the LCB.

Among those scheduled to testify are liquor licensees and Pa LCB board members.
