Can’t Get to the Polls?
Going to the polls on election day is the most secure way to cast your vote. If you are unable to vote securely in person, you may apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot.
Applications for mail and absentee ballots can be requested online or you can download the form and return it to your County Voter Registration Office no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
After you receive your ballot, fill it out following the instructions. Sign and date the declaration and mail or deliver the ballot to your County Voter Registration Office.
If you have an emergency (such as an unexpected illness or disability or last-minute absence from your municipality) you may still be able to get a ballot after the deadline. Here’s information about how to get an emergency absentee ballot.
